Gracefully reaching out from the top of the underground scene to the Pacha crowd...
The reason we want to give the Wednesday night party and the album the Subliminal Invasion name is because every year we come with a different concept and we always try to give people a way to escape from the everyday life. We just thought the invasion is a really good concept because it is about getting away, not about getting away to space, but about letting us invade your brain with our music, and you escape and you forget about anything else, just let us take you on a ride.
So this year we got some good space vixens and some great decorations and again, it is just about escaping your everyday life and letting us take you there.
For me it’s about the tracks I’m playing at the moment, it’s about creating a snapshot of whatever Morillo is doing at one particular time. The first CD is the more vocally, more girly if you will, there’s more vocals on the first CD, it is definitely a lot lighter in the vibe. The second CD straight up dark, a more after hour vibe, very intense. It’s a Cd you would play when you get home from the club, the first Cd instead is the one you play when you’re getting ready to go to the club.
The track Stronger is definitely on the compilation, it is actually the first track on the first CD, setting the vibe for the whole CD. For me it is the track I wanted to have on there, it is my big release for the summer. It’s a great track I did with Eddie Thoneick and Shawnee Taylor on vocals. I’m really excited to have the track on the CD.
There are five exclusive tracks that you can only get in this CD or digital download of the CD. One of them is In The Screen featuring Rachael star by Harry Romero, Jose Nunez and myself. Great vocal with great energy. Another exclusive track is Lasers more on the underground side, and also Let’s Fly Away with Craig David on the vocals. Other exclusive tracks on the album are Tonight by Armand Peña and Afterworld by Jose Nunez.
